“From Five to Nine”: The North Face invites all the outdoor life fans to find the time to enjoy their passions in contact with nature

The meeting is on May, 28th in Milan, where an exciting experience of night hiking will start  

 

As part of “Power In Me”, the multichannel Brand Campaign launched for the Spring/Summer 2015, The North Face® proposes “Everyday Explorer”, a new exciting outdoor experience.

This initiative targets all the outdoor sport and life fans who, despite the stressful lifestyle of the city, aim at finding the opportunity to enjoy their passions and to achieve a psychophysical balance. With this project, The North Face® wants to prove that it is possible to dedicate some time to themselves and to the outdoor life without losing a working day. How? It is so easy!

On May, 28th, The North Face® organizes a hike to Piani d’Erna, a breathtaking mountainous spot near Lecco. The venue of the initiative, that is totally free, is the store in Milan, Galleria San Carlo, 2, where The North Face® team will be happy to welcome and register you.

Once received the confirmation of the registration, on May, 28th at 5 p.m. you have to go to the The North Face® store in Milan, located in Galleria San Carlo 2, bringing the equipment for an outdoor night.

The participants should wear proper clothes and hiking boots, whereas The North Face®   will provide them with backpack, tent, sleeping bag, air bed, food and…an unforgettable experience!

Detailed information will be provided via email once the registration is completed.

From the store in Milan, the group, accompanied by some members of The North Face® and an athlete of the company’s team,  will first move to the Central Station and then will reach the station of Lecco by train.

After that, a bus will take them to Piani d’Erna. The estimated arrival is shortly before 8 p.m.

The one-hour lasting hike will begin, followed by an outdoor night enriched by the amazing The North Face® exploration tales.

The following morning, after spending the night in a tent in the base camp, it is scheduled the way back to Milan by train. The arrival is expected at 8:30 a.m., so that all the participants, refreshed by the hike in the wonderful landscape surrounding Lecco, can start their working day.

“This project that also involves the Milan store represents an extension of the in-store experience aiming at supporting the brand campaign “Power in me” that The North Face® has developed to encourage consumers to experience the outdoors and discover their potential. This allows our consumers to live out what they see in the “From Five to Nine” short film. This will show our audience that living in a city is not a restriction imposed on exploration— it is always possible to get outdoors and escape from the ordinary!” states Jeremy de Maillard, VP of Marketing & e-Commerce, The North Face EMEA.

To register, people we’ll have to go to The North Face store in Galleria San Carlo, 2 Milan.
