The North Face Khumbu Pack is here; the collection takes it name from the Khumbu valley in Nepal, as it was inspired by the bright beautiful colours of the prayer flags commonly found in the Himalayan region. The range embodies The North Face\u2019s mantra for its lifestyle ranges \u2013 inspired by the mountains, made for the city<\/em>.<\/p>\n The Khumbu Pack features iconic items such as the Base Camp Duffel, 1990 Mountain Q jacket and short-sleeved Fine Tee, as well as relative new-comers, such as the Base Camp sliders and Raglan Red Box hoodie, all in a variety of bright and vivid colours that make up the Himalayan prayer flags \u2013 blue, white, red, green and yellow.<\/p>\n Often hung along mountain ridges and peaks in the Himalayas, prayer flags are said to bless the landscape around them, and carry prayers on the wind, while the bright colours represent fire, water and earth.<\/p>\n The pack was aptly shot on the streets of Kathmandu, released in a new lookbook today, showcasing where the inspiration for the collection was born. A region valued greatly by The North Face and the climbing community, this range is a fitting tribute, designed for the modern day urban explorer.<\/p>\n
