\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Stabio, Switzerland \u2013 June 6th<\/sup>, 2016 \u2013 <\/strong>To mark the 30th<\/sup> anniversary of one of its most iconic products \u2013 the Base Camp Duffel \u2013 The North Face\u00ae has released a selection of new limited edition prints to celebrate the legendary bag that has been everywhere you want to go, from mountain peaks to urban adventures.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As well as a selection of special edition colours and prints, the symbolic companion of global explorers has been further improved with additional features. A new end-cap zippered compartment allows you to separate wet clothes, dirty shoes or extra gear without sacrificing volume and the new side zippered pocket, perfectly fits a phone, wallet or other quick-access items.*<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The 30 year old Base Camp Duffel was the first-of-its-kind when released in 1986 and has gone onto become synonymous with expeditions around the globe and is the embodiment of The North Face\u2019s\u00ae \u2018Never Stop Exploring\u2019 mantra. Developed by and for athletes it has become the staple item used by those that push the boundaries of exploration, both on the mountains and in everyday life.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Peter Athans, a long-standing member of The North Face\u00ae Global Athlete Team, and somebody that helped to perfect the early models, has high praise for the Duffel. Athans, a legend in his own right, who is known around the world as \u2018Mr Everest\u2019 due to his multiple trips to the mountain and seven summits to date of Mount Everest, describes how the duffel has helped all types of adventurers to \u201ctransport their essential equipment from the comforts of their home to endless wild places.
