J\u00fcrgen Peschel has taken over as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), with overall strategic responsibility for the service office and IT operations at the Retarus Group. With this move the company continues to expand its management team\u2019s competencies in the field of telecommunication services. As CTO, J\u00fcrgen Peschel will report directly to Martin Hager, CEO of the Retarus Group.<\/p>\n
By appointing J\u00fcrgen Peschel (44) the global service provider of cloud messaging services for email, fax, SMS, EDI and voice services has bolstered its top management with a technology and communications expert commanding over years of international IT management experience. Prior to his move to Retarus the computer scientist worked for 13 years in management positions at Vodafone, where his leadership roles included heading up the IT systems technology, as well as managing the global strategy reorientation of Vodafone network technology. Previously J\u00fcrgen Peschel held leadership positions at both T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom for several years.<\/p>\n
Over the last year Retarus has strengthened its management team by appointing Sascha Wellershoff as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Thomas Tellert as Director Sales Europe, Steve MacDiarmid as Director Sales Germany and David Cole as Director Development, four highly experienced international managers from the telecommunications industry. Together with J\u00fcrgen Peschel this team will advance the internationalization of Retarus and its investments in the US and Asian markets.<\/p>\n
