From August 28-29th, click on special feature episodes on preparation, race, recovery and technical trail-running advice provided by special guest presenters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">84 hours of non-stop live webcast coverage starts Thursday August 30th at 06:00 with the start of the TDS\u2122, covering CCC\u00ae and UTMB\u00ae races until 20:00 Sunday September 2<sup>nd<\/sup> 2012. Each day from Thursday-Sunday at 09:00, 13:00 &amp; 20:00, anchorman Gilles Chappaz will present 15-minute live news updates with special guests including M\u00e9t\u00e9o France&#8217;s<strong> <\/strong>meteorologists &amp; previous race winners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also broadcast live will be two event press conferences \u2013 the official pre-race conference, Thursday August 30th from 18:00 -19:30, and the post race conference, Sunday September 2<sup>nd<\/sup> 11:30 -12:30, featuring the winners from each race.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Social media users can also follow their favourite athletes via the <strong>LiveTrail APP.<\/strong> Runners can share their race in real time with their family, friends and communities via posts on their Facebook\u00a9 and Twitter\u00a9 pages. Each runner, tracked by a chip, provides data such as location, ranking and timing each time they go through a checkpoint. <strong>LiveTrail APP<\/strong>, a widget that connects the live tracking with the runner\u2019s social media profiles, automatically posts their location details on their Facebook\u00a9 and Twitter\u00a9 pages. Connect to LiveTrail APP directly from personal runner\u2019s page on the race website or on <strong>http:\/\/utmb.thenorthfacejournal.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reporting in real-time from Chamonix, starting with the children\u2019s race Mini-UTMB\u00ae Thursday August 30th from 15:00 -18:00, throughout the whole weekend, race highlights and behind-the-scene stories will be posted on <strong>The North Face\u00ae Facebook\u00a9<\/strong> page at regular intervals. From the start to the finish line, live updates will be posted from the course via <strong>Twitter\u00a9.<\/strong> On The North Face\u00ae blog, <strong>http:\/\/utmb.thenorthfacejournal.com,<\/strong> text, video posts &amp; photos will be posted daily.
